A former Lagos State House of Assembly member, Jude Idimogu, has congratulated Christians as they celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ this Easter.
Idimogu, who represented Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II from 2015 to 2023, shared his Easter message on Sunday in Lagos.
He urged Christians to prepare and willingly make sacrifices to promote unity, peace, tolerance and the progress of a better Nigeria.
The ex-lawmaker used the occasion of Christ’s resurrection to reflect on the profound teachings of Jesus.
He stated that Nigerians must uphold peace and unity, as meaningful development cannot thrive in an atmosphere of discord and conflict.
“I urge Christians to reflect deeply on unity, stability, and Nigeria’s continued progress towards a brighter future.
“The key lesson of Easter is to focus on God, who gave Himself for mankind’s redemption.
“In Him, we must remain resolute and committed to sacrifices that can lift our nation to greater heights,” Idimogu said.
