India to Host Inaugural BIMSTEC Business Summit in New Delhi, August 6-8

India is set to host the first-ever BIMSTEC Business Summit in New Delhi from August 6 to 8. The summit aims to foster economic cooperation and enhance trade and investment among BIMSTEC member countries, which include Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Thailand.

Organized by the Ministry of External Affairs in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the event will feature discussions on various topics such as trade, technology, investment, and regional connectivity.

Keynote addresses, panel discussions, and networking sessions are planned to facilitate business interactions and explore new opportunities for collaboration.

High-level delegates from BIMSTEC member countries, including ministers, policymakers, business leaders, and industry experts, are expected to attend. The summit seeks to strengthen economic ties within the region and promote sustainable development through increased cooperation.
