Indonesia’s Golden Visa Attracts $3.7 Billion in Investments
Indonesia’s golden visa scheme has generated investments worth 48 trillion rupiah (US$3.7 billion) since its launch in 2024, according to the Directorate General of Immigration.
The program, designed to attract foreign investors with long-term residency permits, has so far issued 1,012 visas as of Sept. 23.
Authorities say the response underscores growing international confidence in Indonesia’s investment climate and its efforts to position itself as a competitive global destination for business and innovation.
