INEC Pledges to Investigate Alleged Discrepancies in Edo Election Figures
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has vowed to investigate reports of alleged discrepancies in the polling unit result sheets from the Edo State governorship election.
In an official statement shared on its social media platforms, INEC confirmed receiving its second complaint about inaccuracies in figures entered into the result sheets at some of the 4,519 polling units used for the election.
The commission assured the public that it is treating these allegations with urgency and will conduct a thorough investigation, promising to take appropriate action if any violations are verified.
