Big Brother Naija Season 10/10 housemate, Mide, has called off her budding relationship with fellow housemate Kayikunmi, following a heated love triangle involving another housemate, Isabella.
It was gathered that Kayikunmi found himself torn between Mide and Isabella, and openly admitted his confusion to both women.
In an emotional heart-to-heart on Tuesday night, Mide expressed her disappointment with Kayikunmi, who had professed interest in her just 48 hours earlier but was now entertaining feelings for Isabella.
“I don’t think you should have said that you like somebody else. I’m not trying to police what you say, I’m just trying to say that this is just 48 hours,” Mide lamented.
Kayikunmi explained that he only opened up because Isabella questioned his intentions. He added that it was Isabella who first confessed her feelings and that he wasn’t genuinely interested in her, aside from the allure of sexual benefits.
He admitted to sharing a kiss with Isabella but claimed nothing more had happened between them.
Despite his attempt to clarify things, Mide wasn’t convinced. “It’s just a lot, I want to take a step back. I don’t wanna feel like this,” she told him.
However, Kayikunmi tried to take charge of the situation, saying, “It’s me that is making the decision.”
Mide quickly countered: “I’m also going to be involved in this decision making, it’s going to affect me. If we didn’t have our conversation yesterday, would you have told her?”
To which Kayikunmi responded: “Yeah, from the jumjum, I was attracted to you. I liked you that’s why I’m telling you everything that transpired.”
Mide, visibly emotional, concluded: “I appreciate the honesty but it’s literally going to go round and I would have a target on my back, I would be the home breaker. Right now, if I see her walk in here, my heart might cut.”
Meanwhile, Isabella was seen in tears later that night, confiding in fellow housemate Thelma Lawson. She revealed that her relationship with Kayikunmi had taken a hit after he confessed he was also attracted to someone else.
She added that they were already close to being intimate before his unexpected confession shattered her hopes.
With emotions running high and alliances shifting, the love drama in Biggie’s house continues to unfold.
