The President of the high flying Abuja-based Mailantarki Care FC, Hon. Khamisu Ahmed Mailantarki received Ibrahim Sabiu, one of the important members of the glorious Nigeria National team of the U-20 category, the Flying Eagles who were crowned Champions of the West African Football Union (WAFU) in the Stade de kegue in Lome, Togo.
In a brief yet memorable moment held in the MCFC’s Boss’ resident in Abuja, the midfield maestro Ibrahim decorated the club owner with the WAFU gold medal moment after showering praises on him for providing a platform where he showcased his talent that paved the way to his National team call-up.
Earlier in his remark, delighted Mailantarki congratulated the WAFU winner and one of the brightest stars of MCFC, who is now on loan to NPFL side Niger Tornadoes.
“All praises are due to Almighty Allah, I’m highly excited with the milestones achieved in the just concluded international championship, the WAFU cup in Lome. You made us proud, and of course, the whole country, you are an amazing ambassador of Mailantarki Care FC, and I pray this feat will bring about the biggest breakthrough in your career.”
