Manchester United has officially parted ways with Erik ten Hag as the club’s men’s first-team manager, following a series of disappointing performances.
Appointed in April 2022, Ten Hag led the club to notable successes, including the 2023 Carabao Cup and the 2024 FA Cup, strengthening his early reputation with the fans.
In a statement released Monday, the club expressed gratitude for Ten Hag’s contributions, stating, “We are grateful to Erik for everything he has done during his time with us and wish him well for the future.”
Ruud van Nistelrooy will assume the role of interim head coach, supported by the existing coaching staff, as the club initiates its search for a permanent successor.
