The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) announced today, October 22, 2024, that five of its personnel tragically lost their lives in a road traffic accident along the Jos-Akwanga Express Road, near Hawan Kibo.
Director of Public Relations and Information Air Commodore Olusola Akinboyewa said the personnel were en route to a sporting event in Abuja when their vehicle collided with an oncoming truck.
This devastating incident has sent shockwaves through the NAF community, and the organization has activated statutory administrative protocols to provide support and comfort to the bereaved families.
