NDA Warns Afaka, Mando, Kauya Residents to Stay Clear of Shooting Range During Cadets’ Training Exercise

The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has urged residents of Afaka, Kauya, Mando, and surrounding communities to keep away from its open range as it conducts a shooting exercise for cadets of the 73 Regular Course (Army).
This was contained in a statement issued on Monday in Kaduna by the NDA Public Relations Officer, Major Mohammed Maidawa.
According to the statement, “NDA wishes to inform the general public, especially inhabitants of Mando, Tsamiya, Kauya, and Afaka general area, that it will be conducting Range Management Package Shooting Exercise for cadets of 73 Regular Course (Army).”
Maidawa noted that the exercise is scheduled to hold from Tuesday to November 7 at the NDA Open Range, Afaka.
He assured the public that “all necessary safety measures have been put in place for the successful conduct of the exercise.”
“Please accept the highest consideration and esteemed regards of the Commandant NDA, Maj.-Gen. Abdul Ibrahim,” the statement added.
