The National Examinations Council (NECO) has announced that candidates will now pay N50,000 to reprint lost or damaged certificates. This new policy was disclosed by NECO Registrar Dantani Wushishi in a statement released from Minna, Niger State.
Wushishi noted that the reprint fee is subject to periodic review, emphasizing that candidates must make their requests within one year of the original certificate issuance. “After this period, the council will no longer entertain such requests,” the statement clarified.
Additionally, NECO has set a one-month deadline for candidates to submit requests for corrections to their results, urging candidates to adhere to these new guidelines.
