The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the State of Kuwait has issued a safety advisory to Nigerian nationals in Kuwait and the Kingdom of Bahrain, urging them to remain calm, vigilant, and fully compliant with host government directives amid ongoing regional developments.
In a circular dated March 1, 2026 (Ref: NKT/GA/C/004/Vol. I), the Embassy—also concurrently accredited to Bahrain—called on Nigerians to strictly observe all safety guidelines and official advisories issued by authorities in both countries.
The mission encouraged citizens to stay informed by following credible local news outlets and official government announcements in Kuwait and Bahrain. It added that the Embassy is closely monitoring the situation and maintaining regular communication with leaders of Nigerian communities and associations across both jurisdictions.
To strengthen real-time engagement, the Embassy announced the creation of a dedicated mobile and WhatsApp line to ensure swift communication with Nigerian nationals.
For inquiries or assistance, citizens were advised to contact the Embassy via email at nigeriakuwait@yahoo.com or through the designated telephone and WhatsApp numbers provided by the mission.
Reaffirming its commitment to the safety and welfare of Nigerians under its jurisdiction, the Embassy pledged to continue issuing timely updates as the situation evolves.
