NiMet Predicts Three Days of Rain, Thunderstorms Across Nigeria
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has forecast thunderstorms and widespread rainfall across various parts of the country from Monday through Wednesday, urging residents to take necessary precautions against potential flooding.
According to NiMet’s weather outlook released on Sunday, isolated thunderstorms are expected in northern states like Katsina, Sokoto, Kano, Zamfara, Kebbi, Kaduna, Adamawa, and Taraba during Monday morning, with more thunderstorms developing in the afternoon over Borno, Gombe, Bauchi, and Yobe.
Rainfall is predicted in central states, including Benue, Niger, the Federal Capital Territory
