The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), in collaboration with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), has kicked off a roadshow in Abuja to create awareness for the forthcoming GITEX Nigeria 2025, scheduled to hold from September 1st to 4th in Abuja and Lagos.
Speaking during the event on Saturday, the Director General of NITDA, Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, CCIE, represented by Dr Dimie Wariowei, described the roadshow as the official start of activities leading to the international technology exhibition.
Representing the Corps Marshal of FRSC, Shehu Mohammed, Corps Commander Asanya Daniel reiterated the agency’s commitment to supporting the event, noting that the Corps has embraced digital innovation in its operations.
The collaboration between NITDA and FRSC is expected to further drive awareness about the role of technology in governance, safety, and service delivery, as Nigeria prepares to host its first-ever edition of GITEX at the national level.
