The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) has revised its 2025 forecast for U.S. oil and condensate production, lowering its projected growth by 50,000 barrels per day (bpd).
According to OPEC’s latest report released on Wednesday, U.S. production is now expected to increase by 240,000 bpd to reach 13.47 million bpd in 2025. This is a downward adjustment from previous estimates.
The report also noted that in 2024, U.S. production averaged 13.23 million bpd, reflecting a 290,000 bpd increase from the previous year.
Looking ahead to 2026, OPEC anticipates U.S. oil and condensate production will rise by 170,000 bpd annually, reaching an average of 13.64 million bpd.
