‘Ori: Rebirth’, a star-studded Nigerian film, has emerged as the highest-grossing Nollywood movie of the year, raking in an impressive ₦419.5 million at the box office.
The announcement was made by FilmOne Entertainment, the movie’s distributor, in a post on its official Instagram page.
According to the entertainment company, the film is now the eighth highest-grossing Nollywood movie of all time. It also holds the distinction of being the highest-grossing Nigerian film ever not to be released in December, a month traditionally reserved for blockbuster debuts.
