Regina Daniels’ Brother, Sammy, Released on Bail After Days in Detention

Sammy, brother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has been granted bail after spending several days in detention. He was released on Monday, November 10, 2025.

Sammy was initially remanded at the Keffi Prison by a Dutse Magistrate Court last Thursday before being transferred to Suleja Prison. His detention was linked to allegations reportedly connected to the ongoing dispute between Regina Daniels and her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko. Earlier reports indicated that the arrest stemmed from accusations of harassment and intimidation.

Celebrating the development, Sammy’s elder brother, who goes by the handle @Sweezzy1 on Instagram, posted a message thanking supporters. “Sammy, you are a great man. Bail has been granted! Nigerians, thank you,” he wrote.

Activist MamaPee also confirmed the bail, sharing a video as she exited the courtroom shortly after the ruling.
