Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has hit back at her co-wife, Laila Charani, following explosive allegations of drug use, same-sex relationships, and being a bad influence in their household.

Charani, who is also married to businessman and politician Ned Nwoko, accused Daniels of introducing her to drugs six years ago and claimed their husband intervened to save her from addiction.

“You know too well that I almost lost my marriage when you introduced me to drugs six years ago, and it was my husband’s quick insistence on intervention that rescued me from that dark path,” Laila said, alleging that Regina also supplied drugs to domestic staff and her younger sister, Destiny.

She further alleged that she no longer trusts her daughters around Daniels, claiming the actress was “sleeping with every single girl around her.”

Responding to the accusations in a series of posts, Regina Daniels dismissed Laila’s comments as being influenced by their husband, describing them as “useless and hurtful.”

“Openly saying you can’t leave kids around me is the most useless and hurtful thing Ned ordered his retarded wife to say. I’m such a mother to so many children that it’s quite tiring,” Daniels wrote.

Addressing the allegation of same-sex relationships, Regina neither confirmed nor denied the claim but fired back sarcastically, asking how Laila was so sure unless she had also been involved with her.

“Truthfully, sleeping with the same gender isn’t something I consider shameful, but how is she so certain? Is she certain because I slept with her too?” she quipped.

Daniels also hinted at undisclosed issues involving their children but stated she would remain silent out of respect for the family.

The public exchange marks a new twist in the ongoing rift within the Nwoko household, which has continued to attract public attention due to the high-profile nature of the parties involved.
