RESIGN NOW OR FACE RECALL PROCESS; GROUP TELLS SPEAKER AMAEHULE, HIS CO-CONSPIRATORSl

A support group loyal to Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State, known as SIM FUBARA NATIONAL SOLIDARITY FORUM (SFNSF), is demanding the resignation of Speaker Martin Amaehule and 25 lawmakers of the Rivers State House of Assembly.

The group has given them an ultimatum: resign immediately or face a recall process. This move is in response to the assembly’s initiation of an impeachment process against Governor Fubara, which SFNSF sees as biased and contributing to the ongoing political crisis in Rivers State.

The National Coordinator of SFNSF, Comrade Musa Ali Otigba, speaking on behalf of the group, made this assertion in a press release on Friday in Abuja.

It has become imperative to take a stand in view of the prolonged political imbroglio in Rivers State and he further expressed the group’s support for the Association of Legislative Drafting and Advocacy Practitioners (ALDRAP), which has already begun the process of recalling the speaker and his team.
