A Brazilian woman suffered severe burns after her Motorola Moto E32 phone exploded in her back pocket while shopping in Anápolis, Goiás.
CCTV footage captured the terrifying moment as she calmly walked down a supermarket aisle before her pants suddenly burst into flames. She frantically tried to remove the burning device as shoppers rushed to help.
The woman was immediately taken to Alfredo Abraão Hospital, where she was treated for first- and second-degree burns on her hand, forearm, back, and buttocks. Her hair was also partially burned.
Her husband, Mateus Lima, revealed that she remains traumatized by the incident and will require further medical treatment.
