Solomon Buchi Blames Rita Daniels for Regina Daniels’ Marital Crisis, Says Marriage Was a ‘Poor Parental Decision’

Writer and social commentator, Solomon Buchi, has criticized Rita Daniels, mother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, over the ongoing marital crisis between Regina and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.

In a Facebook post, Buchi stated that the root of the issue dates back to Rita’s approval of Regina’s marriage at the age of 17 to a man significantly older than her. He described the decision as a failure in parental judgment, arguing that Regina’s father had reportedly opposed the union at the time but was overridden.

According to Buchi, the situation has now escalated into a crisis that requires maturity to resolve. He suggested that Rita and her family should mend fences by taking responsibility, including apologizing to Ned Nwoko, in order to ensure a peaceful separation — if that is the direction both parties wish to take.

He concluded by expressing hope that children everywhere would be blessed with parents who make decisions that protect their future rather than compromise it.
