Darlington Achakpo, popularly known as Speed Darlington, has been released on bail following his arrest in Lagos.
The comic singer was detained for several days after being transferred to Abuja.
His arrest came after he made a video implying a connection between Burna Boy and American music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, following Combs’ recent legal troubles related to alleged sex trafficking.
Burna Boy reportedly filed a cyberbullying petition against Darlington, leading to the arrest.
Darlington’s lawyer, Stan Alieke, confirmed his release on October 8, sharing a video of him post-bail.
