Hisbah Arrests Several Suspects in Raid on Alleged Immoral Den in Katsina

The Hisbah Board in Dandume Local Government Area of Katsina State has arrested several men and women during a coordinated raid on a house allegedly used for immoral activities.

The board’s Information Officer, Malam Abdullahi Muntari, disclosed this in a statement, noting that the operation was carried out on December 17, 2025, at about 9:30 p.m.

According to Muntari, the raid was led by the Acting Operations Commander, Malam Aliyu Ahmed, following reports that the premises was being used for activities considered contrary to societal and religious values.

“It is unfortunate that some people are comfortable allowing their houses to be used as dens for immoral acts,” he said.

He confirmed that several young men and women were arrested during the operation and would be thoroughly investigated.

Muntari added that the Hisbah Board would continue to carry out similar operations across the local government area to uphold moral standards and protect community values.
