TikTok content creator Elizabeth Amadou, popularly known as Jarvis, has confirmed the end of her relationship with fellow influencer and livestreamer Hamzat Habeeb, widely known as Peller, while urging the public to stop mocking him following his recent car crash.

Jarvis made the disclosure during a live video on Tuesday, as reactions continued to trail Peller’s hospitalisation after an accident on the Lekki-Epe Expressway in Lagos. She appealed for empathy, warning that online ridicule was worsening an already distressing situation.

According to her, the crash should not be used to label or judge Peller’s character, stressing that she never portrayed him as a bad person. Jarvis explained that emotional control, not ill intent, has been his major challenge.

She acknowledged that the couple is no longer together but clarified that the decision was not an act of abandonment. Rather, she said the separation was necessary to allow space for healing and personal growth.

“The relationship is not the focus right now. What matters is helping him get better,” she said, adding that the breakup should not be interpreted as hostility or lack of care.

Jarvis described Peller as a kind person and appealed to fans and social media users to stop spreading what she called harmful narratives and mockery. She urged the public to offer encouragement instead of using the incident to ridicule either of them.

Expressing emotional exhaustion, the influencer said the wave of online reactions had deepened her pain. She called for gratitude that no life was lost in the incident and emphasised that her priority remains the wellbeing of both herself and Peller.

Peller had sparked concern on Sunday after crashing his car during a live Instagram broadcast on the Lekki-Epe Expressway. In the livestream, he was seen visibly distressed while driving his newly acquired Mercedes-Benz before the vehicle veered off the road and hit a stone barrier.

He was later assisted by bystanders and taken to a hospital, with videos of the aftermath circulating widely on social media.
