Tinubu, First Lady Arrive Ogun for Awujale’s Eighth-Day Prayer

President Bola Tinubu has arrived at the Gateway International Airport in Iperu, Ogun State, ahead of the eighth-day prayer ceremony in honour of the late Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona.

The President, who is accompanied by the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, is visiting Ijebu-Ode to join other dignitaries, traditional rulers, and indigenes in paying tribute to the revered monarch.

Oba Adetona, one of Nigeria’s longest-reigning traditional rulers, passed away recently, prompting an outpouring of tributes from across the country for his impactful leadership and dedication to the Ijebu people.
