Train services between Paris and London came to an abrupt halt on Friday morning after an unexploded World War II bomb was discovered in the French capital.
Eurostar suspended all departures to London, while trains heading to northern France were also affected as authorities assessed the situation.
The discovery of wartime explosives is not uncommon in Europe, where remnants of past conflicts occasionally disrupt transportation and construction projects. Officials have not yet provided a timeline for when train services will resume.
Passengers have been advised to check for updates as authorities work to neutralize the device safely.
