Social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman (VDM), has returned to social media with a bang—this time unveiling the official logo for his newly launched Ratel Movement.
VDM had gone quiet online for 24 hours following his emotional reaction to the death of Phyna’s younger sister, Ruth. In his previous video, he slammed bloggers for capitalizing on the tragedy, urging them instead to unite and demand accountability over the Dangote truck incident that led to Ruth’s death.
In a new Instagram post, VDM shared the Ratel Movement logo, which features a ratel (honey badger)—a fearless animal known for its resilience—baring its teeth. He declared the movement as “the fourth arm of government”, signaling his intent to position it as a powerful force for truth and accountability in Nigeria’s social and political landscape.
“This isn’t just a movement. It’s a watchdog for the people,” he hinted in the caption.
