A Western Cape woman, her husband, and a hired hitman have been sentenced to life in prison for orchestrating the murder of a 20-year-old woman who had accused the husband of rape.
A court in South Africa found 36-year-old Dunoon resident and her husband guilty of plotting the “purposeful execution” of the victim in what was dubbed the “RIP CHOMMIE” hit. The hitman they hired was also convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment.
