German Police Hunt Suspect After Killing Turkish Duo
German police have launched a wide manhunt after two Turkish men were shot dead in Bad Nauheim, a spa town about 22 miles north of Frankfurt.
Authorities in the Hesse region said the fatal shooting occurred Saturday in a residential area. The motive remains unclear, though investigators suspect a personal dispute may be involved.
According to police and prosecutors cited by the German news agency DPA, the victims were a 59-year-old father-in-law and his 28-year-old son-in-law.
A large police operation followed the incident, with Hessenschau reporting the deployment of special forces, emergency responders, and a police helicopter. Officials have not ruled out the possibility of multiple suspects being involved.
