President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Mr. Adeniji Kazeem (SAN) on his emergence as the President of the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society Worldwide during the organisation’s triennial delegates conference held in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Kazeem, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and former Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice in Lagos State from 2015 to 2019, was described by the President as a committed figure whose new role reflects both personal dedication and the society’s forward-looking vision.
In a statement issued by the President’s spokesman, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu commended the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society for entrusting leadership to a younger generation of elites.
“Your well-deserved emergence at the helm of this esteemed Islamic organisation is a testament to the leadership qualities exhibited in your life and career,” Tinubu said.
He noted that Kazeem’s rise to the top of the over 100-year-old Islamic organisation “indicates the readiness of the group to hand the baton to its younger elite, who are prepared to advance its mission to greater heights.”
The President expressed confidence that the new leader would bring his wealth of experience to bear in furthering the spiritual and educational development of Muslims globally, especially in Nigeria.
“I do not doubt that you will use your experience to advance the spiritual and educational development of Muslims worldwide, particularly in Nigeria,” he said.
Tinubu also extended his best wishes to Kazeem and other newly selected members of the executive, praying for a successful and impactful tenure.
