Veteran Nollywood actress Jumoke George has made a heartfelt appeal for public support as she battles homelessness, health challenges, and emotional trauma following the disappearance of her first child, Adeola, four years ago.

In a candid conversation with fellow actress Biola Bayo, Jumoke revealed that she currently resides in a church and struggles to care for her grandchildren. She explained that her first child, Adeola, went missing at age 37 and would have turned 41 on May 1. Since then, she has borne the burden of raising her grandchildren alone.

The actress, visibly emotional, shared the toll her health has taken on her. She has been unwell since January and is now in need of N400,000 to undergo critical brain and heart tests.

“I’m tired, I’m exhausted, and in pain every day. I’ve incurred so much debt from medical tests. I don’t sleep, and I don’t know what’s wrong with my body anymore,” she said.

Jumoke pleaded with the public for prayers and assistance, adding, “I have no home, no stable health, and my child is missing. Most times, it’s the church mummy that feeds me. I’ve tried my best as a Christian and a mother.”

The actress called on well-meaning Nigerians, especially mothers, to pray for her and support her in any way possible.
