English Premier League side West Ham United have reportedly joined the growing list of top European clubs vying for the signature of Super Eagles and Club Brugge midfielder Raphael Onyedika, according to Soccernet.ng.

The 24-year-old Nigerian international recently helped Club Brugge lift their 12th Belgian Cup title following a thrilling 2-1 victory over Anderlecht at the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels. His standout performances have not gone unnoticed, attracting interest from elite clubs including Bayern Munich, Manchester City, and AC Milan.

Now, West Ham United have also entered the race, with reports indicating that the club—led by Graham Potter’s recruitment team—is closely monitoring the versatile midfielder ahead of the summer transfer window. The Hammers are said to admire Onyedika’s defensive qualities and potential to bolster their midfield options.

Speaking on the West Ham Way Podcast, a former recruitment staff member confirmed the club’s interest:
“Another player from Club Brugge who is a potential target, again with a lot of competition, is Nigerian international defensive midfielder Raphael Onyedika. It’s still early days, but the club is in the process of identifying key targets ahead of what is expected to be a very busy summer window.”

Onyedika, whose contract with Club Brugge runs until 2027, is reportedly valued at around $20–25 million. With growing interest across Europe, the Belgian side may consider parting ways with the midfielder if the right offer arrives.
