The Member representing Apa/Agatu Federal Constituency and Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on National Inland Waterways, Chief Hon. Pastor Ojotu Ojema (FESMI), has extended warm birthday wishes to the Senator representing Benue South Senatorial District and Senate Minority Leader, Comrade Abba Moro.
In a personally signed congratulatory message made available by his media aide, Ekani Olikita, Chief Ojema described Senator Moro, fondly known as “Ogigo’Mebe’K’Idoma”, as an astute lawmaker whose positive contributions are being felt in every corner of Benue South.
“Your leadership has brought about significant infrastructural developments across Benue South, including the electrification of communities, construction of healthcare centers, road construction and rehabilitation, bridges, and massive empowerment programmes,” Ojema stated.
He noted that these initiatives have not only uplifted the standard of living in the senatorial district but also set a new benchmark for effective legislative representation.
Highlighting Moro’s recent gesture of sponsoring foreign scholarships for 50 indigent students from Benue South, Ojema praised the Senate Minority Leader’s commitment to educational advancement and youth empowerment.
“As a legislative bridge-builder, you have championed critical bills and initiatives such as the North Central Development Commission, Federal College of Agriculture and Technology, local government autonomy, and the Tax Reform Committee—all of which have gained traction at the federal level,” the statement added.
Ojema also acknowledged Senator Moro’s advocacy for decisive federal action against insecurity, particularly in the North Central region.
He concluded with prayers for continued strength, wisdom, and divine favor for Senator Moro as he marks another year.
“May the year ahead bring you renewed strength, wisdom, and divine favor as you continue to pioneer development, foster unity, and amplify the voices of Benue and the North Central,” Ojema said.
