Bayern Munich have reached an agreement on personal terms with Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson as the Bundesliga giants push for a potential move to Germany.

German outlet Bild reports that while Jackson has settled terms with the Bavarian club, Bayern must still strike a deal with Chelsea to secure the Senegalese forward’s signature.

The German champions are exploring a loan arrangement since sporting directors Max Eberl and Christoph Freund are “not allowed” to buy an offensive player this summer. A loan deal with an option to make the move permanent next year is being considered by Vincent Kompany’s side.

In another transfer development, Arsenal announced on Monday that teenage midfielder Laila Harbert has joined American club Portland Thorns on loan until January 2026.

The 18-year-old, who has been with Arsenal since the age of nine, will continue her development with the National Women’s Soccer League side. Harbert signed her first professional contract with the Gunners in January 2025 after progressing through their academy.

She previously gained senior experience during the second half of the 2024/25 campaign on loan at Southampton.
