The National Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners (NANTAP) has appointed Mr. Gregory Odutayo, fta, as Chairman of its Body of Fellows.
Odutayo, a former President of the association and a renowned theatre practitioner, succeeds Professor Duro Oni, who held the position with distinction and is stepping down after a successful tenure.
Announcing the appointment in a statement, NANTAP described Odutayo as a seasoned industry leader whose commitment to the growth of theatre arts in Nigeria has remained unwavering.
“Mr. Odutayo is expected to provide strategic leadership and fresh direction to the Body of Fellows, building on his wealth of managerial experience and history of service,” NANTAP said.
President of the association, Adeniran Makinde, fta, praised Odutayo’s invaluable contributions to the body over the years and expressed confidence in his ability to strengthen the relevance and impact of the Fellows. He also commended Prof. Oni for his outstanding service and leadership.
NANTAP congratulated Odutayo on what it called a well-deserved appointment, expressing optimism that his tenure would be marked by innovation, productivity, and greater visibility for the association.
