The Federal High Court in Abuja, on Friday, dismissed a no-case submission filed by Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Delivering a ruling, Justice James Omotosho held that the Department of State Services (DSS) had established a prima facie case against Kanu, requiring him to enter his defence in the ongoing terrorism trial.

The judge stated that the evidence presented by the prosecution through its five witnesses warranted explanations from the IPOB leader regarding the charges brought against him.

Justice Omotosho thereafter adjourned the matter until October 8 for the hearing of the report of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA).
