Sammy West, brother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has shared a cryptic message reflecting on the value of integrity over wealth amid ongoing controversy surrounding his sister’s marriage to billionaire politician, Ned Nwoko.

In an Instagram story post, West emphasized the timeless wisdom of prioritizing a good name over riches, noting that recent experiences have made the lesson more meaningful to him.

He wrote:

“When we had debates in secondary school on ‘A good name is better than riches,’ na now you go understand! I no dey worship money. RESPECT is a beautiful thing.”

His remarks come shortly after a viral video surfaced showing Regina Daniels in distress, claiming she could no longer endure the alleged violence in her marriage.

Following the video, West accused Nwoko of physically assaulting the actress. However, Nwoko refuted the allegations, attributing their marital crisis to Regina’s alleged abuse of drugs and alcohol.

In a statement shared via his verified Instagram page, Nwoko claimed that the actress had recently displayed aggressive behavior, attacking domestic staff and damaging property within 48 hours. He added that she declined to participate in rehabilitation programs arranged for her in Asokoro and abroad.
