Israeli Army Concludes Month-Long Operation in Gaza Cities
The Israeli military announced on Friday the conclusion of its major month-long operation in the southern Gaza cities of Khan Younis and Deir al-Balah. According to the army, the mission resulted in the elimination of over 250 militants.
During the operation, Israeli forces destroyed more than six kilometers of tunnel networks used by the militant group Hamas. In addition, the bodies of six hostages were recovered.
Residents of some neighborhoods in southern Gaza, who had previously been urged to evacuate, are now being allowed to return, as these areas have been designated as part of a humanitarian safe zone, an army spokesperson stated via social media in Arabic.
Following their withdrawal, Israeli troops are reportedly preparing for further missions
