Gulf States Grant Visa Relief as Crisis Strands Travelers
Governments across the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman have rolled out emergency immigration measures to assist citizens and foreign travelers stranded by the ongoing Middle East crisis.
The coordinated response follows widespread flight cancellations, sudden airspace closures, and major aviation disruptions across the Gulf, which have left many passengers unable to depart or return before their visas expired.
Authorities in the affected countries announced a range of relief اقدامات, including automatic visa extensions, waivers of overstay fines, and special re-entry provisions for impacted residents and visitors. The measures apply to travelers from several countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, China, India, and Bangladesh.
Officials said the temporary policies are designed to ease the burden on stranded passengers, prevent legal penalties, and support stability in the region’s travel and tourism sectors.
Airlines are gradually working to restore disrupted routes, while governments continue to monitor the situation and adjust support measures as needed.
