Bandits Abduct Six Residents in Fresh Attack on Kaduna Estate

Suspected bandits have abducted six residents of Nuru Suraj Estate in Millennium City, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, in another attack on the area.

The incident reportedly occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, October 27, 2026, when the attackers invaded the estate and gained access through its second gate.

A resident, identified as Maman Hamid, said the attack caused panic among residents as the gunmen carried out the abduction.

The latest incident has renewed concerns over the security situation in Millennium City, a fast-growing suburb of Kaduna that has witnessed repeated kidnapping attacks.

On October 6, suspected kidnappers abducted Ahmed Abubakar Zakka, his wife and their six-month-old daughter, Fatima, from Alrahus Estate in the same area. The family was later rescued.

The latest abduction also comes less than two weeks after police reportedly announced the arrest of eight suspected kidnappers and four alleged informants during security operations around Millennium City and Maraban Rido on October 12. AK-47 rifles were reportedly recovered during the operations.

Residents have continued to express concerns over recurring attacks in the area and have called for stronger security measures to protect lives and property.

As of the time of filing this report, the authorities had yet to provide further details on the latest attack.
