Governor Adeleke Approves Work-From-Home Policy for Osun Civil Servants
In a move to address the current economic challenges, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has approved a work-from-home policy for civil servants.
The policy, announced through a circular by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, is part of the governor’s efforts to enhance the well-being of state workers.
Under the new directive, workers on Grade Level (GL) 01 to 10 will report to work three times a week, while those on GL 12 to 17 will work four days a week.
Essential workers such as medical personnel, security officers, political office holders, and accounting officers are exempt from this arrangement.
Additionally, the governor has approved the extension of palliative payments for public servants for the next two months as they await the implementation of the new minimum wage. Accounting officers in various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) are tasked with organizing the work schedules and ensuring compliance with the new directive.
