Ossai Ovie Success, an aide to the governor of Delta State, has advised men that sponsoring a girl’s education should not be seen as a commitment to marry her upon graduation.
He expressed this viewpoint in a post shared on his Facebook page on October 15, where he encouraged men to see education sponsorship as support for the girl’s future rather than an obligation to marry her.
Success emphasized that personal decisions like marriage should not be tied to such acts of kindness or assistance.
