The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Zone RS1HQ Kaduna, has decorated the twenty five newly promoted officers with their new ranks.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN)reports that they comprised
ten Officers and fifteen Marshals.
The Zonal Commanding Officer, ACM Ahmed Umar was represented by the Zonal Head of Operation, CC Ibrahim Abdullahi.
He said that the promotion was a testament to the hard work, unwavering integrity, and relentless pursuit of excellence.
Umar said, “You should count it a rare privilege to be amongst the successful ones.
“Promotion within the FRSC is more than just a new title; it is a recognition of your commitment to service and the weighty responsibilities that come with it.
“As we adorn you with your new ranks today, we are not merely celebrating your achievements; we are also entrusting you with greater responsibilities.
“The roles you step into today will require not only your expertise but also your ability to inspire and lead others.
“In the face of challenges, you have remained steadfast, reminding us all of the importance of our mission at the Federal Road Safety Corps.”
He urged the officers to be professional in the discharge of their duties as professionalism reflects the values of the corps.
Umar added, ”It sets a benchmark for your colleagues who are yet to be promoted.
“As you step into your new positions, remember that the road ahead is filled with opportunities but also challenges.
“As we celebrate this joyous occasion, let us also remember the importance of teamwork, mutual trust and friendship among staff, and unity in achieving our collective goals.”
He appealed to the officers not promoted not to be sad but to take up the challenge to do better, promising that their time would come.
In his remarks on behalf of the promoted staff, CRC Usman Gwani, appreciated God for the promotion and also thanked the Corps Marshal of the corps, Shehu Mohammed, for the privilege to be among the promoted staff.
He pledged their total commitment to the vision and mission of the corps.
