Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has been declared winner of the 2026 governorship election in the state.
The Returning Officer for the election, Joshua Olalekan Ogunwole, declared the Accord candidate winner after polling 511,067 votes.
Adeleke defeated the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, who came second with 444,815 votes.
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate, Najeem Salaan, finished third with 17,180 votes.
The declaration followed the collation of results from the various local government areas across Osun State.
