Davido Announces August White Wedding with Chioma in Miami

Nigerian Afrobeat star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has officially announced the date and location of his upcoming white wedding with his wife, Chioma Rowland.

The singer made the revelation during an interview on The Breakfast Club, confirming that the highly anticipated ceremony will take place in August 2025 in Miami, Florida.

“Our traditional marriage shut down Nigeria because our relationship was in the public eye, and a lot has happened, apart from losing our child,” Davido said, reflecting on their journey together.

This update comes nearly ten months after the couple held a glamorous traditional wedding at Eko Hotels in Lagos State, attended by celebrities and public figures.

In a related story, Davido recounted an earlier encounter with American rapper 50 Cent during his teenage years. According to him, the rapper declined a request for a photo during a family celebration in Las Vegas.

Davido shared that years later, after rising to fame, he reminded 50 Cent of the moment, highlighting how far he had come in his music journey.
