Eddie Marsan, Jamie Campbell Bower Join ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ Season 3

Prime Video has announced that actors Eddie Marsan and Jamie Campbell Bower will join the cast of ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ for its upcoming third season.

The series, currently in pre-production, is set to begin filming this spring at Shepperton Studios in the UK.

Bower, known for his role as Vecna in ‘Stranger Things,’ will be a series regular, while Marsan, recognized for his performance in ‘Ray Donovan,’ will take on a recurring role. Specific details about their characters have not been disclosed.

‘The Rings of Power’ explores events thousands of years before J.R.R. Tolkien’s ‘The Hobbit’ and ‘The Lord of the Rings,’ delving into the rise of evil in Middle-earth. A release date for the third season has yet to be announced.
