Interim Super Eagles manager, Augustine Eguavoen, has appointed Fidelis Ilechukwu and Daniel Ogunmodede as his assistants for Nigeria’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying matches against Benin Republic and Rwanda.

According to Ademola Olajire, Director of Communications at the Nigeria Football Federation, Ilechukwu, the head coach of Enugu Rangers, and Ogunmodede of Remo Stars, will support Eguavoen in the upcoming fixtures.
