Enyimba have sacked Head Coach Yemi Olarenwaju after a woeful run of games for the Peoples Elephant.
The record-Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions had gone nine games without a win, prompting Enyimba to wield the big stick.
“Enyimba FC can confirm that it has parted ways with head coach Yemi Olarenwaju,” the club said in a Saturday statement posted on their social media platforms.
“The club thanks Coach Olarenwaju for his services and wishes him the best in his future endeavors,” the statement added.
