A mass shooting at Florida State University’s campus in Tallahassee has left five people dead and several others injured, authorities confirmed on Thursday.

Police say two gunmen opened fire near the Student Union just after noon, causing panic across the campus. One suspect was apprehended at the scene, while the second was shot and killed by responding officers. The identities of the attackers have not yet been released.

Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare Hospital reported that four people were injured in the incident, with at least one currently in critical condition.

Disturbing footage shared on social media shows paramedics rushing a victim to safety as sirens blared and students scattered for cover.

The university was immediately placed on lockdown, and residents were urged to stay indoors, secure all entry points, and avoid windows.

Law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, are continuing investigations, and a heavy police presence remains on campus as authorities work to secure the area and gather more details about the attack.
