How Israeli Strikes Kill 22 in Southern Lebanon Within 24 Hours

At least 22 people were killed in Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling across southern Lebanon within 24 hours, according to Lebanese health authorities and local media reports.

Lebanon’s Health Ministry said Israeli strikes targeted several locations in the south on Wednesday evening, leaving at least 13 people dead and several others injured. The attacks also caused extensive damage to homes and civilian infrastructure.

According to Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA), an airstrike in Arabsalim, located in the Nabatieh district, killed a father, mother and their son. In a separate strike on the same town, two girls were reportedly killed after their home was hit.

In Nmeiriyeh, four people, including three women, were killed when an airstrike struck a residential building. Another strike in Roumine killed a father and his two sons, while the mother sustained critical injuries.

A civilian was also killed in an Israeli strike on a house in Shehour in the Tyre district.

Local media reported additional airstrikes and artillery shelling in several southern areas, including Yahmar al-Shaqif, Hadatha and Haris.

Earlier on Wednesday, nine people were killed in separate attacks across southern Lebanon, bringing the total death toll recorded within 24 hours to 22.

The strikes reportedly caused widespread destruction to homes and other civilian facilities.
