The track, already gaining airplay across radio stations and streaming platforms, weaves a story of complicated romance. At the heart of ‘Police’ is a man smitten with a woman named Abena, whose unpredictable affection keeps him on his toes. Their clashing rhythms — one seeking love, the other buried in work — stir a charming kind of chaos.

With tongue-in-cheek lyrics, the man jokingly calls for the police, saying Abena has “stolen his heart,” while also questioning whether love would still stand in the absence of wealth or perfection. Beneath the playful tone lies a tender longing for unconditional love.

‘Police’ is the first release off Kizz Daniel’s upcoming album ‘Uncle K’, his sixth studio project following 2023’s Maverick. The single is enriched by Kidjo’s vocals in Fon and Drille’s heartfelt harmonies, creating a rich, soulful blend.
